Hyde Park
Hyde Park is an historic neighborhood in Central Austin located just north of the University of Texas. The western boundary for Hyde Park is Guadalupe St., with the southern boundary being W 38th St. and the north boundary being W 51th St.
Hyde Park is mainly made up of large Victorian style turn-of-the-century homes, some of which have been turned into Bed & Breakfasts and Duplex Homes. It is one of Central Austin's most densely populated neighborhoods and new construction is strictly monitored to maintain the historic architectural integrity.
The homes in Hyde Park range in price from the mid $100,000's to $800,000, with the majority of homes being built in the first half of the 20th Century. The residents of Hyde Park are served by the AUSTIN ISD. The schools include Lee Elementary, Kealing Middle Schools and McCallum High School.
