Wells Branch is located in North Austin, between I-35 and Mopac Expressway. The southern boundaryis Wells Branch Pkwy while Grand Avenue Pkwy makes up the Northern boundary.

The amenities of Wells Branch include the Wells Branch Recreation Center which has a basketball court and fitness center. There are two community pools in Wells Branch, as well a park, hike and bike trails, and even a frisbee golf course. In addition, the Howard Lane Light Rail Station will be opening soon at the west end of Wells Branch, allowing for an easy commute downtown.
